Casual Registered or Enrolled Nurse/s - Cairns GP Superclinic

Seeking motivated Registered or Enrolled Nurses to join our collaborative team. If you thrive in a professional fast-paced environment and excel at integrated patient care, we would love to hear from you.

Whilst experience is preferred, we value attitude and cultural fit above all else and are excited to provide comprehensive general practice training and mentorship, for a passionate new Nurse ready to grow within our team.

We offer a high-volume casual roster (4 to 5 shifts, approx. 30 to 37.5 hours per week) and are looking for Nurses who embrace flexibility across our operating hours:

• Monday to Friday 6.30am - 9pm
• Weekends 8am - 6pm

Competitive penalty rates apply for afternoon shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Key responsibilities (include, but not limited to):

Clinical: Triage, emergency response, immunisations, ECGs, spirometry and audiograms.

GP Support: Assisting with surgical procedures, excisions and wound management.

Care Management: Health assessments, chronic disease care plans and health coaching.

Operational: Managing eHealth, patient reminders and treatment room co-ordination.

Requirements:

• Registration: Current AHPRA General Registration and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
• Mindset: A solution-focused approach with exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive and remain flexible, in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork: Proven ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively while adhering to clinical policies and procedures.

Desirable:

• Eligibility: Applicants with full work rights are preferred.
• Software: Proficiency in Best Practice or similar medical software.
• Experience: Previous Nursing experience in an Australian general practice setting.
• Specialised skills: Experience or qualifications in immunisations, care plans and health assessments.
